Persia and Asia Region
Many cities in Western Persia (Iran) and further east had Syriac Orthodox dioceses and communities and they were under the jurisdiction of the Syriac Orthodox Maphrianate of the East. Below is a partial list of them and it includes cities in more eastern countries
Abadqawan or Abaskun: A port on the Caspian Sea
Aphrah: A town in Khurasan, Iran
Azerbaijan: A territory in northern Iran and it's a name of a country now.

Beth Lafat: In the Al-Ahwaz region in Iran and it was a Metropolitan See

Dailem: A town on the Shores of the Caspian Sea
Ghinghin Talas: A town in China
Gurgan: A town located south of the Caspian Sea
Herat: A city in Afghanistan
Hermizardashir: A town called Ahwaz in Iran
Khorasan: A city in Iran
Maraga: A town of Azerbaijan, south of Tabriz and east of Lake Urmia.
Zarang : A town in Sejestan (Sistan), Iran
Sus: a town in Khuzistan (Ahwaz); the ancient Susa.
Tabriz: A city of Iran
Tiflis: A city in Georgia.
Urmia: A city in north western Persia
Yarcan: A town in China
