Dayr Al-Anba Antonios
Dayro d'Mor Antunyo: A famous learning center and housed a large group of scholars. Here in the early seventh century, Bishop Tuma Harqloyo translated the New Testament from Greek into Syriac. Also several works by Jacob of Edessa were written here
Dayr Al-Anba Bishoy: According to legends it was visited by St. Ephrem the Syrian
Dayr al-Khandaq: Destroyed in 1279

Dayr Mor Girgis: Dayr al-Anba Samuyel
Dayr Al-Iqlim
Dayr Al-Anba Maqaryos: Built in the 8th century, one of three monasteries named after Anba Maqaryos. The remaining two belonged to the Coptic church.
Dayr Mariam Al-'Adra: This is a different monastery from the one at Deir Al-Surian
Dayro d'Mar Mikhael: Probably located at the same spot as the contemporary Coptic Monastery of Archangel Gabriel, on Mount Naqlun near the city of Fayyum.
Dayr Al-Anba Pola: Had a large library
Dayro d'Mor Romanus Rabo: This is where Jacob Baradaeus lived (6th century).
Dayr al-Anba Samuyel: Also known as Dayr al-Qalamun.
Dayro d'Mor Severus Rabo: Described as a huge building erected on the spot where St Severus of Antioch died in 538.
